Everyday Hero CPR LLC ("Everyday Hero CPR," "we," "us," or "our") provides CPR, AED, First Aid, BLS, ACLS, and PALS training, certification, renewal, and related education services.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with everydayherocpr.com (the "Site"), our class-registration and scheduling services, contact and chat tools, in-person and onsite training, and communications by phone, email, or text message.
This Policy is a notice of our privacy practices. It does not itself provide consent for optional marketing messages or for any use of information that requires separate consent.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Everyday Hero CPR may operate separate non-marketing and marketing messaging programs. Non-marketing messages may include responses to your inquiry, class confirmations, appointment and schedule reminders, location or instructor details, rescheduling and cancellation notices, and certification-expiration or renewal reminders. Marketing messages may include occasional class announcements, offers, or promotions.
Consent for non-marketing messages does not automatically authorize marketing messages. Marketing consent is separate and must be provided in writing or through an electronic action that clearly authorizes promotional texts.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. Consent applies only to Everyday Hero CPR and is not transferable.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact francisco@everydayherocpr.com or 469-298-9593. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. We also honor other reasonable requests that clearly ask us to stop. We may send one confirmation text and will then stop messages covered by the request unless you later opt in again. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We retain consent, opt-out, and suppression records for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the program, honor your choices, demonstrate compliance, and prevent messages from being restarted without a new opt-in.
We may email you about a class, certification, payment, account, inquiry, or other transaction. If you separately subscribe to marketing email, we may also send class schedules, news, or offers. You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message or by contacting us. Transactional messages about an existing booking or request may continue.
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate forms and site features, remember preferences, measure Site use, prevent spam or fraud, and improve performance. Depending on the page, these technologies may be provided by our website platform and by service providers such as Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA, ResQ Engage/LeadConnector chat and customer-relationship tools, and an embedded class-registration platform.
These providers may receive device, browser, IP-address, Site-activity, and interaction information in order to perform services for us. Their handling of information is also governed by their own privacy terms.
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking some cookies may prevent forms, chat, scheduling, security features, or other parts of the Site from working. We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals because there is no generally accepted standard for doing so.
We disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the following purposes:
We do not sell personal information. Based on our current practices, we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. The mobile-information restrictions in Section 4 apply to every disclosure described in this Section.
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, to comply with legal or credentialing requirements, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. Retention is evaluated by category:
When information is no longer needed, we delete it, de-identify it, or securely dispose of it, subject to backup cycles and legal holds.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, and disclosure. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may ask us to:
Texas residents. If the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act applies, Texas residents may exercise the rights described above and may appeal a denial by replying to our decision or contacting us with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." If we deny the appeal, we will provide the Texas Attorney General's online complaint mechanism as required.
California and other state residents. Residents of states with applicable comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights, including non-discrimination for exercising a privacy right. Some laws apply only after a business meets specified thresholds; we will honor rights that apply to us and to the request.
Submit a request or appeal by emailing francisco@everydayherocpr.com, calling 469-298-9593, or writing to the address in Section 14. Describe the request and provide enough information for us to reasonably verify your identity. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
The Site and online registration are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we learn that this occurred, we will delete the information unless law allows or requires us to retain it.
Students under 18 may attend training when enrolled by a parent or legal guardian, school, employer, or other authorized adult. The adult supplies registration and contact information on the student's behalf. We direct class and certification communications to that adult and do not knowingly send marketing texts or marketing email to a minor.
If you believe a child provided information directly to us, please contact us.
The Site may link to or embed websites and services we do not operate, including course-registration systems, certifying organizations, education platforms, and equipment retailers. Their privacy practices apply when you interact directly with them. Review their policies before providing information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy and update the date at the top. Where required, we will provide additional notice before a material change takes effect. We will not use previously collected information for a materially different purpose without any notice or consent required by law.
